And the Oscar Went To…

Argo and Life of Pi  the Big Winners!

Adele with "Puppet" Kristin Chenoweth
I was watching Kristin Chenoweth interview Adele on the red carpet and I can't figure out if Kristin is that small, or Adele is that big!  Neil and Eric thought that Seth MacFarlane started off a little shaky, only to find that it was all planned—setting the
stage for some singing and dancing.  It all seemed like a throwback to the days of Bob Hope and Johnny Carson hosting.  Personally, I thought there would be more gingers, but instead all the technical people had long blond hair.  Speaking of technical people…Eric thought it was a bad call to have the orchestra at a different site.  Some of the music overpowered the performers, as in the case of Adele and Barbra Streisand.  I didn't think that was possible!

The Highlight of the Show
76-Year-Old Dame Shirley Bassey singing "Goldfinger"
I don't think Catherine Zeta Jones was singing live, but Dame Shirley Bassey and Jennifer Hudson definitely were. They were the evening's highlights!  Congratulations to all of the winners!  It was a big night and I'm pooped this morning.

Dexter and Neil tied by predicting 9 out of 12 winners.  Eric was close behind with 7 of the 12 top category winners.
